Phillip has been Active Duty Air Force since Aug 2001. We have lived at Fairchild AFB, WA and are currently at Eielson AFB, AK. Some people ask what it is like to live in Alaska. Alaska is a beautiful state! The only down fall being the winter. In Jan the temp. drops to -50 degrees, but we all look forward to spring and summer and the 24 hours of daylight! It seems kind of funny to be up at 1 am and the sun still being up. Phillip is trying to get a cop job at Clear Air Station in Alaska and if he gets that job then we will be here for at least another 6 years. If that happens we will be buying a house! That will be exciting to finally have our own place after 6 years.
As I said before we have 2 wonderful children Liberty (Libby) and Lily and are expecting baby number three in Feb. I can't believe that I will have three kids under the age of four but I know a lot of people out there that do it so I am ready for the challenge. The new baby is a girl. Her name is Cheyenne Marie. Liberty is always saying she wants to "see" baby Cheyenne. It's kind of hard to explain to a three year old that she has to wait to see the baby, but we do our best. She is a wonderful big sister and she can't wait to see the new baby. Lily is going to have a hard time adjusting from baby sister to big sister but I'm sure Liberty will play with her and help keep her mind off of not being held as much.
The doctor put me on bed rest because of some complications in my pregnancy so I had to quit my job as a front desk clerk at the hotel here on base. I miss working but I have adjusted to being a stay at home mom and I am loving it. The kids are goof balls and make me laugh at least 10 times a day.
